Two Acolyte episodes and Godzilla Minus One on Netflix? What a week for streaming!
I really enjoyed jumping into these two episodes. It felt like Star Wars right off the bat. I have to say I was a little distracted by the Matrix vibes I got from seeing Carrie Anne Moss in action and the Dave Chappelle/Rick James vibes I got from Mae/Osha’s hair style. Both were minor and barely worth mentioning.
I’m excited for more Acolyte, especially the next episode given the tease at the end of episode two. I am also equal parts nervous as we are in the High Republic era and few, if any, are safe.
